Responsibilities: Associate Systems Engineer

1) Participating in Daily Problem Solving:

  • Take part in daily problem-solving exercises to quickly resolve difficulties raised by customers.
  • Work together with team members to properly assess and troubleshoot client issues.
  • Assign jobs a priority depending on their influence on client operations and urgency.

2) Ensuring High Degree of Customer Focus:

  • Continue to approach all interactions and activities with a strong customer-centric mindset.

4) Driving Resolution of Low to Medium Complexity Issues:

  • Work together with cross-functional teams when necessary to effectively handle challenging problems.

5) Analyzing Business Impact:

  • Analyze how incidents affect impacted users and operations in terms of business.
  • Inform stakeholders about the seriousness of situations and any possible fallout.
  • Put procedures in place to reduce interruption and guarantee business activities continue.

6) Collaborating with Global Support Teams:

  • Collaborate closely with support staff in various areas, such the US and Denmark.

Qualifications:

  • One to three years of experience working in a round-the-clock support organization.
  • Comprehensive OS skills refer to both a practical skill set and a theoretical understanding of the operation of several OSs. Red Hat Linux 7 and Windows 2019 are supported operating systems for STEP. Parts of STEP are also executed on Mac. Certified RHCE is an advantage.
  • A minimum of one year’s experience in managing servers hosted by Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS), two of the main cloud providers.
  • Expertise with Oracle databases, especially administration knowledge regarding upkeep and backups.

  • Knowledge about JAVA and/or maintaining JAVA-based applications
